The mission of REACH Center after-school program is to provide at-risk youth a safe, secure place of refuge, study and edification through structured programs and activities designed to meet the needs of each individual enabling them to tap into their potential, discover talents and gifts, reach for their dreams, graduate high school, go on to higher education and become productive members of society.

REACH Center Youth Program will have the following programs and activities:

  • The REACH for your homework after-school program consisting of homework assistance, a tutoring program and an in-depth interactive educational computer program
  • The REACH for a book reading program
  • Case Management
  • Weekly Workshops and Awareness Groups
  • Enrichment program
  • Gang prevention/intervention program
  • Mentoring program
  • Job readiness training in conjunction with a career search and summer job program
  • Positive Life Preparations program
  • GED classes/testing
